CRISworks (Credit Reference Industry Solution) is a positive credit reference system developed and implemented for the New Zealand building and construction industries in September 2003.

It is an Internet-based system that allows users to perform positive data checking against their existing or prospective clients. Its key benefits are:

• Minimisation of financial risk.
• Reduction of costs incurred through bad debt and fraud.
• Reduction in write-offs for non-payment.

CRISworks differs from all other credit reference solutions in the Australasian market in that it provides credit-referencing data based on real time positive supplier data. (Positive data is the actual account information from suppliers including financial receivables detail).
